| Objective:ZD preparations is a classical Chinese herbal medicine for non-open soft tissue injury. Collagenase-induced SDF tendinitis and muscle contusion model were established to observe the whole tendon area, tendon injury area, tendon echogenicity, muscle thickness and blood flow signal with ultrasonographic methods. The aim of the experiment is to explore the treatment effects of ZD preparations on SDF tendinitis and muscle contusion, expound the tendinitis and muscle contusion model ultrasonographic characters, verify its effects and expand its application.Methods:(1)12 Mongolian horses were randomly divided into test medicine group (ZD preparations), positive drug group (DMSO) and negative control group.2680 u bacterial collagenase I was injected into the left forelimbs SDFT with ultrasound guided. Whole tendon area, tendon injury area and tendon echogenicity were inspected with ultrasound on 48h, 7d,15d,30d,45d,60d,75d and 90d after injury.(2)12 Mongolian horses were randomly divided into test medicine group (ZD preparations), positive drug group (Anmo ointment) and negative control group. Shoulder muscles of one side were knocked by 10Kg free-falling body from 2m. Muscle thickness, muscle echogenicity and blood flow signal were inspected with ultrasound on 2h, 1d,3d,5d, 7d,15d,25d and 30d after injury.Results:(1)Limbs injected into collagenase were swelling, lameness and fever. And the ultrasonic image shows low echo area and fiber alignment was destroyed. The clinical symptoms and ultrasonic characteristics indicated SDF tendinitis.(2)The whole tendon area reduction, injury tendon repair speed and tendon echogenicity recovery speed of test medicine group were significantly high than positive drug group and negative control group, P<0.01, indicating that the tendon detumescence and repairing effect of ZD preparations is better than DMSO.(3)The muscle contusion detumescence of test medicine group was significantly high than positive drug group and negative control group, P<0.05, and was better than positive drug group in chronic phase. It indicated that ZD preparations have a good effect on muscle contusion especially in chronic phase.(4) The development of blood flow signal was better than positive drug group and negative control group, indicated that ZD preparations promoted the new vessels regeneration and blood flow, and it promoted the recovery of muscle contusion.Conclusion:ZD preparations have a good tendon detumescence and injury repairing effect on collagenase-induced SDF tendinitis, and the effect is better than DMSO. It also highly promote muscle contusion detumescence and blood circulation. |
