In this thesis, the cut flowers of matthiola incana (category ’Aida’) were choose for the experiments. The experiments mainly researched the fresh keeping effect of solutions containing inorganic salt combined with sucrose and benzoic acid as well. The thesis is divided into two aspects, the results of this experiment as follows:1. Single factor experiments. From three concentrations sucrose (1%,2%,3%), select the one which can show the best preservative effect of cut flowers by observing some indicators. The results demonstrate that the concentration of 3% sucrose have best preservative effect of cut flowers. The preservative effect of two kinds of organic acids(30 mg·L-1 salicylic acid、30 mg·L-1 benzoic acid) antistaling solution on matthiola incana cut flowers. The results show that the antistaling solution of 30 mg·L-1 benzoic acid is better than 30 mg·L-1 salicylic acid. The effect of solutions with two inorganic salts(Al2(SO4)3、Ca(NO3)2) on fresh preservation of matthiola incana cut flowers. Every inorganic salt have two concentrations (100 mg·L-1,200 mg·L-1 ). By observing several morphological indexes, the concentration of 200 mg·L-1 Al2(SO4)3, and 200 mg·L-1 Ca(NO3)2 have better preservation effect on matthiola incana cut flowers.2. The effects of fresh preservative with two inorganic salts on matthiola incana cut flowers. The experiment set 5 kinds of treatments. Treatment A is 3%S; Treatment B is 30mg·L-1 benzoic acid; Treatment C is 3%S+30mg-L"1 benzoic acid; Treatment D is 3%S+30 mg-L"1 benzoic acid +200mg·L-1 Al2(SO4)3; Treatment E is 3%S+30 mg·L-1 benzoic acid +200mg·L-1 Ca(NO3)2. The results is those antistaling solution could significantly extend the vase-holding life of Matthiola incana cut flowers, raise the fresh weight, increase the blossom rate, promote its water absorbing capacity and the improve moisture balance in matthiola incana cut flowers, and remarkably increase activity of POD, CAT and SOD, and increase the soluble protein content. The best concentration is 3%S+30 mg-L"1 benzoic acid +200mg·L-1 Al2(SO4)3.
