A Study On The Utilization Of Bamboo In The Gardens Of Beijing

The utilization of bamboo has a long history in Beijing gardens and bamboo landscaping skills are relatively mature,there are a large number of excellent cases about bamboo design. Through the study of a large number of literature, summarized the bamboo cultivation characteristics and optimum growth conditions, combined with Beijing historical meteorological data,summarized the characteristics of climate and soil distribution, then propose the problems that bamboo design is facing in Beijing. On this basis, according to the investigation data,conduct a comprehensive analysis about the advantages and disadvantages of bamboo design in Beijing,puts forward that moderate microclimate created and cultivation management measures improvement is the key to promote bamboo landscape,the same to bamboo growth condition.Through to the study of correlation between climate factor and landscape architecture elements, puts forward the strategies of the moderate microclimate created. Then based on the illumination, temperature, moisture, soil, fertilizer, and corresponding tending management measures are put forward, in order to strengthen the capability of wind performance and drought resistance.
