Soybean meal is an important plant-derived protein feed with high crude proteincontent and balanced amino acid composition. However, high content ofanti-nutritional factors in plant-derived feed, such as antigenic proteins, enzymeinhibitors, seriously affect the animal’s absorption of nutrients and result in reducedanimal growth performance, and as a sesult limit the widely used of plant-derivedfeed in livestock and in aquaculture. Therefore, rational development and utilizationof plant-derived feed, such as soybean meal, has important application value andpractical significance. In this study, we get the fermented soybean meal with Lactobacillus andBacillus, we explore the impact of fermented soybean meal on the growthperformance of piglets, as well as to study the effect of replacement of fish meal onpiglets. Results of the fermented soybean meal with compound microorganismsshow that the best solid-liquid mixing fermentation ratio of Lactobacillus andBacillus is1:0.8and the best ratio beween Lactobacillus and Bacillus is7:3. Thefinal fermentation conditions are: fermentation temperature35℃, with10percentof inoculum and was cultured for3days, the pH of medium was5.5. Afterfermentation, content of antigen protein was significantly decreased, crude proteincontent slightly increased, crude fiber content decreased and other nutrients contentdid not change. Results of the effect of fermented soybean meal on growth performance ofpiglets show that the group3was significantly different from the two control groupsin average daily feed, average daily gain and feed conversion ratio, it has the lowestfeed conversion ratio, and has the lowest rate of diarrhea. Thus, the group3has thebest performance. Results of solid fermented soybean meal on piglet metabolismshow that certain changes has occured in serum biochemical indicators, but the levelswere in the normal range, and the condition of the health of piglets did notsignificantly change between the groups, adding5%fermented soybean meal has improved the production performance of piglets from a certain extent, and it is a kindof high-quality animal feed. Results of the effect of fermented soybean meal replacement of fish meal ongrowth performance of piglets show that the group3was not significantly differentfrom the two control groups in average daily feed, average daily gain and feedconversion ratio In the feed conversion ratio, the positive control group and theexperimental group has the same feed conversion ratio, which was higher than thenegative control group. Results of diarrhea rate show that the group3has the lowestrate, lower than the positive control group, and the experimental group3has betterperformance, thus, adding solid fermented soybean meal can replace fish meal whichwas fed to pigs.So by combining Lactobacillus and Bacillus, we successfully achieved asignificant reduction in the antigen protein content, while retaining the originalnutrients. Also, the fermented soybean meal can be a good promotion of the growth ofpiglets, it improves production performance, and can be used to replace fish meal tofeed piglets. In addition, the present study is solid fermentation, which has simpleproduction equipment, low cost, low power consumption, and lessgeneratedwastewater, waste gas,it is an environmentally friendly, economical, and effectivemethod of fermentation, and it provide high-quality protein feed for breeding and feedbusiness.
