This study was conducted to investigate the effect of solid-state fermentation on the nutritional value of soybean meal(SBM),and effect of fermented soybean meal(FSBM)instead of SBM on the growth performance,blood biochemical parameters and intestinal health in weaned piglets.The study consists of two parts:Experiment 1: The fermentation strains include Yeast,Bacillus subtilis,Lactobacillus plantarum and Lactobacillus reuteri.The parameters for solid-state fermentation of SBM were initial moisture content,40%;incubation duration,4 d.Results showed that the dry matter content of SBM was 87.55%,and FSBM was 51.84%.Compare with the SBM,ether extract(EE)content of FSBM decreased by 39.60%,gross energy(GE)increased by 2.20%,crude protein(CP)content increased by 7.60%,amino acid content increased by 1.28%,p H value decreased by 1.96,and TCA soluble protein were 3.19 times than original,the soybean protein is mainly distributed in the 26 k Da range and there were a large number of bacteria survived after fermented.We measured the digestible energy(DE)and metabolizable energy(ME)of SBM and FSBM fed to weaned piglets(body weight,5.56±0.76 kg)and growing pigs(body weight,33.85±3.37 kg).Results showed that at the stage of weaned piglets,the DE and ME of SBM were 14.64 MJ/kg and 13.47 MJ/kg.The DE and ME of FSBM were 15.30 MJ/kg and 13.84 MJ/kg.At the stage of growing pigs,the DE and ME of SBM were 15.92 MJ /kg and 15.05 MJ /kg.The DE and ME of FSBM were 16.92 MJ/kg and 15.65 MJ/kg.Experiment 2:We selected 144 weaned piglets(body weight,7.49±0.73 kg)and randomly divided them into 4 groups.The control group was fed the basal diet(corn-SBM diet).The other 3 experimental groups were fed with self-made FSBM diet,purchased FSBM diet and probiotic diet.And the SBM in control group was completely replaced by FSBM in experimental groups.The trail period was 14 days.Results showed that: 1)There was no difference in average daily gain(ADG)between the self-made FSBM group and the probiotic group,but they were highter than the control group and the purchased FSBM group(P < 0.05).2)The self-made FSBM group was lower than the other 3 groups in feed:gain(F:G)but not significantly(P > 0.05).3)There were no significant difference in average daily feed intake(ADFI),gastrointestinal p H,hepatic weight,spleen weight,diarrhea rate,serum biochemical parameters and jejunal mucosal disaccharidase activity in each group(P > 0.05).4)Compared with the control group,the duodenal villi length: crypt depth(V: C)of the self-made FSBM group was significantly larger(P < 0.05).The jejunum V:C was larger in the self-made FSBM group than the control group but not significantly(P < 0.10).There were no difference in ileal villus length,crypt depth and V:C between each group(P > 0.05).5)There had no difference between each group in the relative expression of ZO-1 gene,Occludin gene and Claudin-1 gene of jejunal mucosa(P > 0.05).6)During d 15-42,replacing SBM with self-made FSBM had no difference in ADG,ADFI and F:G between all groups(P > 0.05).During the whole period of the experiment,the ADG,ADFI and F:G had no difference between each group(P > 0.05). |
