FMD(Foot-and-mouth Disease) and AI(Avian influenza) are major animal diseases in China. Animal husbandry healthy development affected by the diseases for long-term. In recent years, the comprehensive prevention and control measures were taken in which vaccination was given first place in Inner Mongolia region. In the study, to find out the immune level and natural infection status of the two diseases, the FMD immune antibody monitoring, the 3ABC antibody of FMD detecting, the AI immune antibody monitoring and etiology monitoring of the AI were carried out for the year of 2014 at 14 citys in Inner Mongolia.1217 serum samples that were collected from cattle,1914 serum samples that were collected from sheep and 1351 serum samples that were collected from pigs were used for the antibody detection of FMD. The results show that the immune antibody positive rate of type O FMD, type A FMD and type Asia I FMD are 87.8%,94.4% and 87.4% respectively The immune effect was good in most regions, but the immune antibody positive rate was lower than the national standard in the few regions. The immune effect of large-scale farms was slightly better than backyard farmers. The immune effect of cow was slightly better than sheep and pigs. The 3ABC antibody positive rate of cattle and sheep are 37.72% and 15.99% respectively, which shown the natural infection of FMD was relatively common in Inner Mongolia region.2653 serum samples of chicken were collected,2653 oral and cloaca’s double-swab samples of chicken were collected. The results show that the immune antibody positive rate of AI H5 suotype was 91.71%. The antibody positive rate is qualified in most cities and that was lower than the national standard only in one city. The immune effect of large-scale farms was slightly better than backyard farmers. Positive rate of etiology of H5 and H7 subtype was all 0.00%. The results of this study would provide scientific reference for the prevention and control of FMD and AI in Inner Mongolia region.
