In this study, Yudou 7 as female parent and Guodou 7708-12-3 as male parent, vortex beans sexual hybridization breeding, the pedigree method of high protein soybean varieties Guodou No 5. On this basis, to study the Guodou No 5 main cultivation techniques, through sowing date, density and nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium fertilizer experiment, to investigate the effect of sowing date and density on its growth and yield, and nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium fertilizer on the yield and yield. The main results are as follows:1 Guodou No 5 growth period of about 101d, determinate podding habit, compact plant type, height is 65cm, effective branches 1.9, pod number 31.9, number of grain per plant 67.1,100 grain weight 20.9g, long leaf type, purple, gray, yellow, brown grain elliptic, umbilical, commodity nature is good, good. When mature, indehiscent pods, high resistance, high protein content (greater than 45%), with good agronomic characters.2 Effects of sowing dates on Guodou No 5 yield, Guodou No 5 in Huaibei area along Huaihe River should be early sowing, sowing date in June 5th - June 12th is appropriate, affect the yield density on the vortex bean 5 larger, should be controlled in 2.25×105 -2.55×105 strains kg/hm2. If the delay of sowing date, sowing quantity can be enlarged to 3 ×105 kg/hm2 strains, but the growth period for chemical control processing.3 Nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium fertilizer could significantly increase the Guodou No 5 yield, reasonable ratio is:N fertilizer 75 kg/hm2, P fertilizer 60kg/hm2, K fertilizer 45kg/hm2.
