As one of functional animal feeds additives, Casein Posphopeptides (CPPs) is applied to the production of swine, piglet and layer. Studies of CPPs on broiler was rarely researched, especially on meat quality of broiler. The experiment choosed 800 broilers, randomly divided into 5 groups for 4 repeated, and each repeated of 40 chickens, male and female half and half, mixed feeding. The control group was raised basal diet, and the experimental groups were added different concentrations of CPP-Ⅱ for 0.25%,0.50%, 0.75% and 1.00% in basal diet, the experimental period was 42 days. On the days of 14,28 and 42 for broilers, calculated the increased weight, consumed material and survival rate, and determined the shearing number of chest muscle, muscle fiber diameter, hypohydration of chest muscle, water rate, weeping loss and cooked meat rate of muscle, at the same time, separated and weighed the bursa of Fabricius, thymus and spleen and computed the index of immune organ, then analyzed and compared the effect of CPPs on performance trait, meat quality and growth and development of immune organ in broiler. The result showed that:(1) Adding of CPPs in basal diet increased performance trait, between 0 to 4 weeks, adding of 0.50%-0.75% CPPs in basal diet increased the average daily gain and survival rate significantly (P<0.05); But the feed gain ratio was lower than control group obviously, and the effective of 0.75% was the best.(2)Between 0 to 6 weeks, adding of 0.25%-1.00% CPPs in basal diet for broiler raised the muscle fiber diameter of flight muscle, chest muscle and leg muscle at different levels; adding of 0.75%-1.00% CPPs in basal diet enhanced significantly for the shearing number of chest muscle in AA broiler of 2 to 6 weeks (P<0.05), and the influence of 0.25-0.5% CPPs on the shearing number of chest muscle in AA broiler was little (P> 0.05); adding of CPPs in basal diet for broiler increased the water rate and cooked meat rate of muscle, and degraded the weeping loss and hypohydration of muscle, so as to improve the muscle quality, and the effect of 0.75% CPPs was the best.(3)Adding of CPPs in basal diet increased the weight and index of thymus, bursa of fabricius and spleen at different levels, and promoted the growth and development of immune organ in broiler significantly.
