Effects Of Macleaya Cordata Extracts On Production Performance,Muscle Quality And Immune Performance In Mahua Broiler Chicken

To study effects of Macleaya Cordata extracts on production performance,muscle quality and immune performance in Mahua broiler chicken,there were 28 days of age Mahua broiler chicken(hen).They were 280 and randomly defined as seven groups.Group A was the basic control group which based on the basic feed supply.Group G was the antibiotics control group which based on the basic feed supply,add the corresponding actual content is 150 mg/kg of corresponding chlortetracycline.one of the group B,C and D based on the basic feed supply,in turn,the corresponding fodder to join the corresponding within 30 mg/kg,40 mg/kg,50 mg/kg Meiyouzhuang(Macleaya cordata extract),Group E based on the basic feed supply,add 40 mg/kg PE50(Macleaya cordata extract).Group F based on the basic feed supply,add 40 mg/kg BE60(Macleaya cordata extract).Specific experiment time was 30 days.Chickens were provided unlimited water and food.Their weight and feed intake were recorded before and after text.After finishing text,6 chickens were randomly choiced and killed,taking blood and weighing to production performance,slaughter performance,organ index,serum biochemical indexes,muscle quality and immune performance.The results were used by analysis of variance and multiple comparisons of Excel.Finally it is concluded that:1.The effects of Macleaya cordata extracts different alkaloids on production performance in Mahua broiler chickenMacleaya alkaloids extracts can improve daily gain and feed-meat ratio in Mahua broilers.The results were more obvious in the test group BE60 and Meiyouzhuang with Sanguinarine and Chelerythrine.It was the best in BE60 test group.Although the difference was not significant,it was roughly the same with the antibiotics control group.The additive amount of Meiyouzhuang should be appropriate to control the amount of 40mg/kg.2.The effects of Macleaya cordata extracts different alkaloids on slaughter performance and organ index in Mahua broiler chicken(1)The results showed that Macleaya alkaloids extracts could improve the slaughter rate of Mahua broilers,but it was not obvious of the effect of half net thorax weight ratio and whole net thorax weight ratio.The breast meat rate of Mahua broilers was improved when The additive amount of Meiyouzhuang and BE60 was the amount of 40mg/kg.But PE50 could significantly reduce the breast muscle rate of Mahua broilers,with a drop of 10.8%.(2)It was little about the effect of Macleaya alkaloids extracts on the central immune organs(thymus and bursa Fabricius)of Mahua broilers.But it was huge about the effect of Macleaya alkaloids extracts on the peripheral immune organs(spleen)of Mahua broilers.Macleaya alkaloids extracts could increase the spleen index.It was the hugest about the effect of high doses of 50mg/kg meiyouzhuang on the pancreas.3.The effects of Macleaya cordata extracts different alkaloids on serum biochemical indexes in Mahua broiler chicken(1)Protopine and Allocryptopine of Macleaya cordata extract can increase the content of total protein in serum of Mahua broilers.The low dose of Sanguinarine and Chelerythrine can improve the low density lipoprotein(LDL)content of Mahua broilers.But they didn’t effect on albumin and HDL.(2)Macleaya alkaloids extracts could effect on superoxide dismutase(SOD),glutathione peroxidase(GSH-Px),total antioxidant capacity(T-AOC)in serum of Mahua broilers.They were decreased,similar to the action of antibiotics.Especially,GSH-Px decreased obviously at the amount of 40-50mg/kg of meiyouzhuang.T-AOC increased significantly at the amount of 30mg/kg of meiyouzhuang.While the PE50 can make T-AOC significantly reduced.4.The effects of Macleaya cordata extracts different alkaloids on muscle quality in Mahua Broiler ChickenMacleaya cordata extract BE60 could great influence on muscle quality of Mahua broilers.It could increase cooked meat rate and the content of crude protein,crude fat,crude ash and reduce the content of crude water.The effect of Meiyouzhuang was opposite to BE60.And it can reduce the content of crude protein,crude fat and increase the content of crude ash and water.Meiyouzhuang had little effect on cooked meat rate.5.The effects of Macleaya cordata extracts different alkaloids on immune performance in Mahua broiler chickenThe high doses of 50mg/kg meiyouzhuang could increase the content of IgG,IgA,IL-1 and reduce the content of IL-6 in serum of Mahua broilers.BE60 had significantly effect on Mahua broilers.
