The efficiency of milk cow industry can be affected by the efficiency and performance of breeding of dairy cattle. Under the natural conditions, there is often only one advantage mature follicle development as the growth and degradation of follicle in cows with normal reproductive function. Therefore, the problem of how to greatly improve the reproductive performance of high quality cows in daily work without influence the normal production performance of healthy cows, has always been the focus of diary cow breeding industry. Superovulation and embryo transfer technology has been get more and more attention as the most effective way and method to solve the problem. FSH are the key drug of estrus and superovulation technology. The quality and the correct use of FSH has direct impact on the effect of inducing estrus and superovulation. Therefore, this experiment mainly observed the effect of a new type FSH sustained-release injection of cows in inducing estrus and superovulation and providing experimental basis for the improvement and application in dairy farm. The tests choosed 12 heads of 15 to 18 months of youth breeding Holstein cows, and 6 heads are divided into two groups randomly. The processing of experimental group: cows was treated with superovulation in any day of the cow estrus cycle(not the day of estrus), by placing CIDR(day 0 d), along with intramuscular 4 mg E2. At 6:00 of 10 d a.m., one-time intramuscular a dose of FSH sustained-release injection. Intramuscular 25 mg PGF2α in the morning and afternoon at 12 d, remove the CIDR in the 13 d afternoon, and observing the estrus performance(interval) of donor cows at 15 d. After estrus 12 h, first insemination, second 12 h interval. Collected the embryo with non-surgical at 22 d(the 7 d of after estrus). Treatment in the control group: in addition to FSH injection scheme and experimental groups of different other are the same, the FSH injection scheme: the 10 days morning 6:00 injection of FSH 2.0 mg, 6:00 PM injection FSH1.5 mg; the 11 days in the morning and evening respectively injection FSH1.5 mg; the 12 days at 6:00 in the morning and injection of FSH(1.0 mg) + PGF2α(25 mg) of animals; night with injections of FSH(0.5 mg) + PGF2α(25 mg) of animals. The results showed that the control group estrus rate was 100%, the experimental group estrus rate was 83.33%, the difference was not significant(P > 0.05). And the available embryo number per cow was 3.16 pieces in average in the control group, the number of corpus luteum is 6.83 per cow, the embryos efficiency was 65.52%; the experimental group the number of available embryos averaged 2.0 pieces per cow, the number of corpus luteum is 2.80 per cow, embryo rate was 66.67%. The difference between the experimental group and the control group was significant(P < 0.05).Conclusion: Low-dose FSH injection has certain effect on superovulation of Holstein cows piebald.
