In view of the excellent performance of Belgium blue beef,the overall population in China is small,and it is urgent to expand the population.Multiple ovulation and embryo transfer technology can rapidly and efficiently expand the population and maximize the reproductive performance of cows.Therefore,the study on the optimization of multiple ovulation and embryo transfer technology for Belgian blue cattle has practical production effect and is of great significance to the improvement of reproductive efficiency.Synchronization estrus make the donor and recipient cattle concentrate on estrus and pregnancy.Superovulation can improve the utilization rate of donor cattle,and combined with embryo transfer can achieve the purpose of rapid propagation of Belgian blue cattle.This experiment used Belgian blue cattle as the donor and Angus cattle as the recipient,and studied the factors affecting the effect of multiple ovulation and embryo transfer in Belgian blue cattle,with the aim of providing theoretical basis,technical support and experimental basis for in embryo production,embryo transfer,establishment of core population and promotion in southern Xinjiang.Experiment one: Experiment of Superovulation in Belgian Bule CattleIn this experiment,20 Belgian Blue Cattle(3–4 years old,first born)were selected for superovulation.The results showed that: 1)The efficiency of superovulation by different simultaneous methods(PG and implantation CIDR)before superovulation was 90%,and the average number of recovered embryos and average number of available embryos were 7.11 and 4.67 for the CIDR+PG method and 5.33 and 3.44 for the PG+PG method,with no significant differences(P>0.05).2)The average number of retrieved embryos and available embryos was 5.44 and 3.44 in summer,7.00 and 4.67 in winter,with no significant difference(P>0.05);3)Different sources of FSH can significantly affect the effect of superovulation in Belgian blue cattle.The average number of directly examined corpora lutea,average number of recovered embryos,mean number of available embryos and mean number of freezable embryos in Folltropin-V were 9.30,7.70,5.50 and 4.10,all of which were significantly higher than those in SANSHENG FSH of 6.00,4.38,2.25 and 1.25 embryos(P<0.05).4)The average number of embryos recovered by injection-type and traditional perfusion-type embryo flushing was 7.56 and 4.89,and the recovery rates were 94.44% and 63.79%,respectively,with significant differences(P<0.05).Experiment two: Experiment of Embryo transfer in Belgian Blue CattleThe embryos collected from Belgian blue cattle donors were transferred to 53 Angus cattle.The results showed that: 1)The synchronous estrus rates of CIDR+PG+Gn RH method,PG+PG and Gn RH+PG+Gn RH method were 90.00%,78.26% and 84.62%,synchronous estrus rates of summer and winter were 80.56% and 88.39%,respectively,and no significant difference(P>0.05).2)The transplantability rates of the three simultaneous estrus recipients were 85.19%,72.22% and 81.81%,and the transplant pregnancy rates were 39.13%,30.77% and 33.33%,respectively,with no significant differences(P>0.05).3)The pregnancy rates in summer and winter were 31.82% and 38.71%,respectively(P>0.05).4)The pregnancy rates of grade A and B fresh embryos were 42.86% and 38.26%,(P>0.05),and those of grade A and B frozen embryos were 27.27% and 25.00%,respectively,with no significant difference(P>0.05).Comprehensive consideration,under the existing management level and ecological environment in southern Xinjiang,the Folltropin-V was selected,the CIDR+FSH+PG method was used in the superovulation scheme,and the injection type embryos flushing were used to optimize the superovulation and embryos flushing effect.Gn RH+PG+Gn RH method was used for estrus synchronization in recipient cattle,and fresh embryos were used for embryo transfer,which could optimize the embryo transfer technique.
