At present, the melon seed processing machinery production is not quite efficient andthe watermelon, pulp and seed separation is not complete in our country. The indicators ofthe isolated after the machine crushes the melon can not meet the subsequent processingrequirements. To solve these problems, this paper mainly discusses the following aspects todo further study:(1) According to the indicators of all the isolated (melon, pulp, and seeds)in theprocessing production line, a7.5KW motor as power which intends to meet the standards ofthe new high-yielding seed melon seed crushing and taking machine is designed. Themachines adopts the pulley and sprocket set as power transmission system, the way ofbreaking extrusion to broken seed melon, and the device for axial flow of drum level formelon, pulp, and seeds. It also sets up a spiral conveyor between the separation plants so asto refine and transmit to meet the standards of the seed melon in the full use of theprocessing production line for subsequent processing requirements of the pulp, and at thesame time improve the seed to take off the net rate; The whole machine are all made of304stainless steel material and meets the requirements of the safety of food processing.(2) This paper focuses on the initial level of single factor experiment and research onits separation plant and seed peel crumb separation device performance parameters and theinfluence that the various factors have on the test index by means of a self-developed newhigh yielding melon seed crushing machine in the processing production line, thecharacteristics of separation device cone roller skin crumb and separation plant seed crumbtapered roller, and changing the main performance parameters of another device in a limitedamount of a separation plant under the condition of invariable parameters.(3) According to the results of single factor experiment selected on different levels ofvarious factors respectively, the paper is concerned with the separation effect of seed crumbin-depth orthogonal experiment and research on the skin of the pulp separation device andmain performance parameters. Through the extreme difference analysis and varianceanalysis of the test results, it can be concluded that what affects skin flesh separation plantand seed damage rate is mainly the separation roller speed, followed by skin crumb, separating roller scraper and the minimum distance between the screen mesh and separationroller taper. The factors that influence the seeds to take off the net rate include separationroller speed, followed by skin crumb separation roller scraper and the minimum distancebetween the screen mesh and separation roller taper; Elements that affect the seed pulpseparation plant seed damage rate are as follows: seed pulp separation roller speed, rollerscraper and the minimum distance between the screen mesh, separating roller taper; Factorsaffecting seed to take off the net rate include seed pulp separation roller speed, roller scraperand the minimum distance between the screen mesh, separating roller taper.(4) Considering the factors of the effect on damage rate and the net rate of seed sizeand seed melon production with regards to processing requirements, optimization of workingparameters of separation plant are as follows: leather crumb skin flesh separation roller speedis98.5r/min, separation roller scraper skin crumb and the minimum distance between thescreen mesh of20mm, separation of skin crumb taper roller is4; Optimization ofseparation plant seed crumb work parameters are as follows: seed pulp separation rollerspeed is225.1r/min, seed pulp separate roller scraper and the minimum distance between thescreen mesh of20mm, separation of seed crumb taper roller is3. Finally on the prototypeof the optimized repeatedly experiment, the experimental results show that: the new seedmelon seed crushing and taking capacity can reach10~11t/h, can meet the demands of thefull use of the processing production line capacity; If the seed damage rate is <2%, the seedto take off the net rate will be>98%. The indicators of watermelon and melon pulp juice ofseeds of melon in subsequent processing requirements of the use of processing line can meetat a rate of100%, suitable for seed melon seeds of melon broken in full use of the processingproduction line and their skin, flesh, seed health separation. The isolated important indexesmeet the seed melon needed for full use of processing production line of its requirements andstandards of food processing. The research could be used to guide the researcher and the useron the design of melon seed crushing and taking.
