Study On The Seed Treatment And Seeding Density Of Bupleulum Chinese DC.

Bupleurum chinense DC., is a plant of the family Umbelliferae and perennial herb. Itsrhizome usually used as a traditional staple medicinal material. As ceaseless researches in therule of pharmacology, the demand of Bupleurum chinense’s market increases year by yearwith wide prospect. Therefore manual cultivation of Bupleurum chinense DC. became a newway to meet market demand and increase farmers’ income. Thus it is quite important to studythe Propagation technology of Bupleurum chinense.Different means of Bupleurum chinense DC, were selected to investigate the effect ofmediums on seed genermination, the effects of plant growth regulator on survivalrate ofgerminating and growthing. The results were as follows：1. Suitable concentration of GA3,6-BA, salicylic acid and KMnO4increased thegermination of Bupleurum chinense seeds significantly, and the germination time shortenedremarkably. The concentration for salicylic acid(0.05mg/L) seed soaking24hours had thebest effect, germination rate, germination potential, germination index and vigor index wereup to67.33%。During this experiment,100~300mg/L6-BA and0.1~0.7mg/L6-BA still cansignificantly increase Bupleurum seed germination rate and germination potential, nosignificant difference in start date, peak day was significantly ahead of schedule. By0.4%KMnO4treatment can shorten Bupleurum seed germination time and germination rate up to55.78%, an increase of15.11%compared to controls.2.Comprehensive technical study showed that: the way for the drill seeding Bupleurum,spacing of25cm, field density of60,000/667m2, has the highest yield,;field layout andpopulation growth is most reasonable, therefore, it is recommended to change the originalextensive planting sow management, using drill spacing of25cm plant management methods,to increase the production and profitability.3.《The Standard Operating Procedure of Bupleurum chinense》standardize the qualitypollution-free ecological of origin Bupleurum chinense,standardized production environment,species type, cultivation and production management techniques, harvesting and initialprocessing, quality standards, packaging, storage and transportation, and other technicalrequirements.
