| For the comprehensive and scientific research for the breeding habitat selection and predict the potential breeding habitat of Eurasian Spoonbill (Platalea leucorodia), our team used Point Observation Method, GPS Locating, Quadrat Survey, Factor Measurement Method, Principal Component Analysis (PCA), Normal Distribution Analysis and NDVI to analyze the data we collected in Qi Xinghe National Nature Reserve, Hei Longjiang Province, during2011-2012.The result shows:the reedbed wetland inside the reserve is the main breeding habitat for Eurasian Spoonbill, the Principal Component Analysis (PCA) shows the selection of breeding habitat is relate to plants height, plants density and pants diameter, the selection is positively correlated with plants height and plants density, and has the negative correlation with pants diameter, which means Eurasian Spoonbill prefer nesting and breeding inside a habitat which has higher plants height and density but thinner plants diameter; Normal Distribution Analysis shows theoretical breeding habitat of Eurasian Spoonbill show meets three conditions:1. Plants height between209cm±5.75cm:2. Plants density between64root/m2±4.92root/m2;3. Pants diameter between0.64cm±0.04cm. Through the analyze of remote sensing technology, the NDVI of the buffer zone is between0.59-0.61, match with the same NDVI of whole reserve by Pixel Set. finally get the map of the potential breeding habitat of Eurasian Spoonbill. |
