A field and pot expriment was carried out to study the effects of biochar and the cooperationof biochar and nitrogen levels on the soil fertility, flue-cured tobacco growth and quality. The main resultswere as follows:1Effects of different amount of biochar on on the soil properties(1) Biochar inhibited the activity of soil invertase, but the inhibition decreased with the development ofgrowth period, and at90days after transplanting, the activity of soil invertase with70g biocharapplication was higher than CK. Biochar can increase the activity of catalase at the late growth stage.(2)The application of biochar significantly increased content of organic matter in the whole growth period, increased soil SMBC in the late growth stage. So, the application of biochar can significantly increasedcontent of organic matter, modified growth environments of Flue-cured Tobacco, and improved itsgrowth, low-to-mid application rate of biochar(3.5-10.5g/kg) has the better effects(.3)The application ofbiochar significantly increased content of organic matter in the whole growth period.2Effects of different amount of biochar on dry matter accumulation of tobaccoThe application of biochar increased the dry matter accumulation of tobacco at the middle and lategrowth stage, and the effect with70g biochar application was most obvious.3Efects of interaction of biochar and nitrogen on pigments(chl, car) of flue-cured tobacco leaves(1)Under the conditions of low-nitrogen, mid-nitrogen and high-nitrogen treatments, the content ofpigments(chl, car) in flue-cured tobacco leaves were significantly increased with the increase of biochar(except for30days after transplanting). At95days after transplanting, the content of chlorophyll andcarotenoid of low-nitrogen, mid-nitrogen and high-nitrogen treatments show that C2> C1> C0.Compuared with C0, The content of chlorophyll under N1, N2, N3in C2level increased by25.9%,33.7%and54.7%; The content of carotenoid were increased by36.36%,36.36%and85.32%.(2)Efectsof interaction of biochar and nitrogen on the ratio of carotenoid/chlorophyll show that: high-nitrogentreatment> mid-nitrogen treatment>low-nitrogen treatment; Application of biomass carbon can improvecarotene/chlorophyll ratio of flue-cured tobacco at a different level in the30days、55days aftertransplanting.(3)At the early stage of the flue-cured tobacco growth, application of nitrogen can improvethe ratio chlorophyll a/b. Under the condition of three nitrogen levels, At30days、55days、70days aftertransplanting, biomass carbon can increased the ratio of chlorophyll a/b (except for low nitrogen levels at30days after transplanting). At30days after transplanting, biochar significantly increased the ratio ofChla/Chlb.4Efects of interaction of biochar and nitrogen on contents of potassium, chlorine, nicotine and total nitrogen in flue-cured tobacco leavesThe sugar content of the impact is not significant, total nitrogen,, potassium levels significantly increasedapplied biochar. Total nitrogen and potassium contents were significantly higher than the non-applicationof biochar (CK) processing. Sugar/nicotine and nitrogen/nicotine is closer to the range of quality tobacco.Tobacco of biochar applied750-1125kg/hm2have a good qualit5Effect of different treatments on aroma substances of flue-cured to bacco leavesBiochar could improve the amount of neutral aroma matter of middle leaves. Biochar750kg/hm2(T2)have the highest total of aroma matter. The carotenoid degradation products, solanone and theneophytadiene content are the highest applied750kg/hm2(T2).The brown product degradation productdegradation product content to the amount of processing the highest content1125kg/hm2(T3),phenylalanine is the highest with375kg/hm2(T1). Biochar increases the total amount of Neutral Aromamatter, improve the aroma index B and is easy to have a coordinate aroma. Biochar could improve theamount of neutral aroma matter of upper leaves. Biochar750kg/hm2(T2) have the highest total of aromamatter, neophytadiene and phenylalanine degradation product.Brown product class degradation productsand carotenoids degradation products with1125kg/hm2(T3) is the highest. Biochar increases the totalamount of Neutral Aroma matter, improve the aroma index B and is easy to have a coordinate aroma.Biochar750-1125kg/hm2(T2-T3) is good for the aroma of tobacco and the the aroma index of B valuecompared to the application of biochar (CK)greatly improved, which will help the tobacco to form a goodaroma and taste.
