The development of the number and scale of cities also forms a lot of urban agglomeration, urban agglomeration not only promotes the development of the region, but also can provide protection for regional industrial integration and economic integration.Theory, urban development can not only bring the development of urban economy, but also can provide better services for residents, but also should improve the social system construction and the sustainable development of resources and environment, etc.In recent years, China’s accelerated urbanization, the city’s economic various indicators continue to grow, but at the same time more and more problems are exposed. The relative scarcity of per capita resources, serious environmental pollution, high Gini coefficient, the larger regional development differences, the social system is not perfect, and other issues are also more prominent. But the current evaluation of urban development in our country is still based on economic data, and it is not concerned with other aspects of economic development. Therefore, it is more valuable to evaluate the quality of urban development from multiple dimensions. The 16 cities in Anhui Province as the research object, comparison and analysis the province’s 10 years and the 16 cities development quality, the status of the development of Anhui Province to make reasonable evaluation, and put forward the advice of the development strategy of Anhui Province.This paper in summing up and summarized about the quality of urban development research based on existed research, from the economic development level, the level of life quality, social development level, resources and environment and urban and rural development coordination, and established the five dimensions of urban development quality evaluation system, the data of Anhui Province for 10 years and 3 years of 16 cities in the data. The results showed that the Anhui Province has been an upward trend in the recent ten years; overall, southeastern cities along the Yangtze River and the resource type city development quality is relatively high, while in west and northern Anhui urban development quality is relatively low; specifically, Hefei, Wuhu, Tongling City, Maanshan city development quality is relatively high, Lu’an City, Fuyang City, Suzhou City and Bozhou city development quality relatively low. |
