College Students’ Medical Insutance Research

Since 2008, college students were incorporated into urban residents medical insurance scope. College students medical social insuranc is cheap, convenient and high pay.But in recent years, the rate of joining college students medical social insurance in nanning has been stagnant, or even fall back.On the basis of clarifying the history of college students’ health care system and the new policy,we make questionnaires for college students (in nanning, for example)and college student are participants of social insurance. We analyze different individual factors on the rate of of joining insurance (include gender, professional, educational background, urban and rural areas, economic level, medical expense, commercial health insurance).We also analyze the satisfaction of the college students social medical insurance and the the correlation of the satisfaction and the rate of joining insurance.In the end,we analyze treatment preference, sources of information of social insurance, the existing problems of implementation,and so on.On the basis of problems and feasible international experience,in order to consummate college students social medical insurance,increase the rate of joining insurance, promote the college students social medical insurance better and make a wider range of college students to get more sufficient guarantee,we put forword some effective countermeasures and suggestions.This paper include five chapters. The first chapter introduce the background of this paper,express the significance of the research, overseas and domestic research status and, innovations and deficiencies. The second chapter presents the history and current situation of college students social medical insurance, including free medical service, commercial insurance and the current policy. The third chapter expound respondent, questionnaire design and the expected results. We analyze different individual factors on the rate of of joining insurance (include gender, professional, educational background, urban and rural areas, economic level, medical expense, commercial health insurance).We also analyze the satisfaction of the college students social medical insurance and the the correlation of the satisfaction and the rate of joining insurance. The fourth chapter introduces the feasible international experience.In the fifth chapter, On the basis of problems and feasible international experience, we put forword some effective countermeasures,including introduce competition mechanism and improve the quality of the school hospital services. The university should strengthen the propaganda of the college students social medical insurance. Health care system design should pay attention to subsidies for poor students. Simplify long-distance medical reimbursement procedures, to achieve health care plan as a whole across the country. Health care system design should pay attention to students in rural areas.Constructing multilevel security system, include social medical insurance, commercial insurance and medical assistance.
