Study On The Strategic Planning Of Electric Vehicle Industry In Liuhe Economic Development Zone

Three decades of reform and opening up, the rapid development of economic development zones, have played a huge role in promoting and facilitating China’s economic and social undertakings. But in the development process, many economic development zone industry strategic planning have defects and shortcomings, exposed many problems, further affect the healthy and orderly development of development zone.How to effectively implement the strategic management of development zone, guiding the development zone to develop benignly has become a subject to be addressed urgently.Liuhe Economic and Technology Development Zone was established in1993as a provincial Economic Development Zone. Developing for many years later, it has become the focus of regional economic development of Liuhe, consisting of automotive and parts manufacturing, pump and water treatment equipment, machinery, textiles, new materials industry and so on. However, despite Liuhe Economic Development Zone since its inception, has achieved great achievements, but many problems still exist, such as:development zone industrial assemble effect is not obvious, relevance among enterprises of interior industry is not strong enough, especially there is no clear development plans and schemes in the area of industrial development strategy, which leads to Liuhe Economic Development Zone has not formed differences to other peripheral develop zones and its own unique competitive industry orientation and development pattern; therefore, the Liuhe Economic and Technological Development Zone still does not have a strong competitive advantage.At present, each of developed economies gives priority to the development of low carbon economy, and takes the development of new energy, new automobile power, clean energy, and biological industry as the new economic point of growth after the international financial crisis. Electric vehicle industry as an emerging industry, combined with the new energy industry and the traditional auto industry’s characteristic, has become a new industry mainly supported by government. In recent years, the country came on stage in succession multinomial policy and industry planning step by step to encourage enterprises, scientific research institutes and local government to develop new energy automobile industry. Last year, the government of Jiangsu province also puts the development of new energy automobile industry into the" the doubling plan of new industry in Jiangsu province", in order to develop the industry greatly. So, the development of electric vehicle industry in the future will be a trend which cannot be halted.The article is based on the above basis. First of all, it analyzes the present situation of Liuhe Economic and Technological Development Zone as well as the electric vehicle industry’s development in the zone, next, it gives detailed analyses and elaboration on the general situation and development trend of electric car industry, then uses SWOT analysis to do a further analysis to the electric vehicle industry development environment of Liuhe Economic and Technological Development Zone.
