A Study On The Financial Coexistence Of Small And Medium - Sized Commercial Banks And Small And Medium - Sized Enterprises In Yunnan Province

With the advancement of the reform and opening-up policy, medium and small enterprises have developed rapidly and play an important role in Chinese economy. These developments have vastly promoted the innovation of science and technology, created a wide range of job opportunities and accelerated the growth of GDP in China. However, in the steady process of advancement of medium and small enterprises, the difficulty of financing has limited the further development because of bad management, imperfection of financial regulations and information asymmetry of financial organizations. At the same time, with the openness of market economy and the diversification of financial systems, many medium and small banks have been established. Yet in the stage of early development and limited by the scale, they can hardly compete with big state-owned banks at present.According to the outcome of the empirical research, the dissertation analyses reasons leading to the results. Firstly, it considers that the market of medium and small banks lack clear orientation bringing about homogeneity competition with big banks. Secondly, the low quality of medium and small enterprises and the imperfection of financial mechanism give rise to the conclusion that the level of the symbiotic relationship between medium and small banks and enterprises is rather low. In order to improve the symbiotic relationship, this dissertation puts forward some suggestions by contrasting with the us government’s help to the symbiotic relationship at the legislative level and the experience of American medium and small banks. It suggests that the quality of symbiotic unit should be boosted and the symbiotic environment should be improved, hoping the conclusion will make a contribute to the symbiotic relationship between medium and small banks and enterprises in Yunnan Province.
