With the rapid growth of science and computing technic, Information technologyhas already penetrated every sphere in people’s living. it appears in bill checking andaccounting of restaurants as well as in financial management of the group enterprises.The ERP implementation has been a critical method of improving businessadministrations and enhancing core competences of enterprises.ERP system represents the advanced manufacturing technology. its great utilitywere proved by west enterprises, many domestic companies have also benefited wellwith the help of ERP. Enterprises who implemented ERP system, can make up theirinsufficient management resources, enhance their internal management functions, andefficiently integrate cooperate organization structures.at the same time, the problemsin operation and management could be expressed by quantized data, which offers themanagers clear guiding suggestions. According to the survey, more than85%of theforeign companies has implemented ERP successfully, ERP has already become theirindispensable business utility In china, ERP system developed slowly in early times,but, after2002, the popularity rate began to raise rapidly. The share of local ERPsuppliers has exceeded foreign peers. And the trends keeps developing in good ways.Shenhua energy group is the biggest and most modernized coral processing andselling company in the world. It owns21subsidiaries,62coal mines, many powerplants, railroads, and docks. Registered employees exceed2.1million. The scale ofShenhua group bloated too much, which causes severe challenge in internal control.Recently, china has reinforced the restriction in non-renewable resources and realestates, the company’s major business suffered strong impact. Therefore the groupmust enhance internal control while searching for new profit growth, and protectitself from potential risks.Because the distance of subsidiaries varies in length, management and operationdepartment can’t monitor every filiale at the same time. The department can onlymanage filiales by making policies or casual inspections. But the internal controlplays decisive role in capital safety and risk management. As the information technologies develop so fast today, normal ways of internal control has been replacedby it systems gradually.The implementation of ERP system is one of the critical segments of cooperativeIT construction, and ERP system is the trends of development of information society.But the implementation of ERP can’t proceed without hindrance. Accounting to thesurvey, there are60%of the companies encountered problems in ERP implementationand can’t achieve the desired result. Management of Shenhua group has madewidespread inspection and deep analysis, and deployed a series of measure toincrease the success rate of ERP application.This article based on the study of relevant reach and combined with the practicalsituations of Shenhua group, attempts to search a successful way to ERPimplementation, which may hopefully help the companies encountered difficulty inERP implementation.
