Performance management, as the foundation of incentive mechanism in enterprise and the key point of human resource management, has been widely used to develop human potential. It has received widespread attention. As the current market competition is becoming increasingly intense in China, how to use performance management to retain and attract talents is worth a lot of companies paying attention to.Through the sufficient investigation and research, this thesis analyses the principal contradiction and problems which exist in the performance management of F company. According to the current status of this developing company and the new requirement for the performance management, balanced score card (BSC) and is used to optimize performance management system. The thesis finds that traditionally single performance management can no longer meet F company’s needs in the increasingly open market today. The new performance management system must be consistent with the strategic objectives. F company can optimize performance management system from a strategic level, to make it more in line with the company’s strategic objectives by using the Balanced Score Card.The purpose of the study is to use a suitable tool (Balanced Score Card) to enhance business strategy execution and improve enterprise management. This article provides a theoretical case study of performance management for reference. The application of balanced score card paves a new path to optimize the performance management system.
