Based on the analysis on the current situation and development of red tourismand the concept and relevant characteristics of red tourism products, this paperproposes that the concept shall be expanded; relevant regional elements shall becombined; and emphasis shall be laid on sustainable development during the design ofsouthern Jiangxi red tourism products. Moreover, great importance shall be attachedto the research on the green and environmentally friendly design of southern Jiangxired tourism products, combining regional culture symbols with the design andregional resources with folk techniques, and enhancing the brand forging of southernJiangxi red tourism products. Firstly, a description is made onto the current situation,development and concept of red tourism. Secondly, an analysis is made on specificthoughts associated with design and development of southern Jiangxi red tourismproducts. At last, this paper makes an in-depth research on theme exploration,creativity, material section and technique application of southern Jiangxi red tourismproducts, finishing design and development practices of southern Jiangxi red tourismproducts.
