With the emergence of the internet, personalized needs of customers to the forging enterprise products, has brought the serious challenge for forging industry. Different from other industries, forging industry as the basic traditional manufacturing industry, is characterized by small amount, single type, large forging processing costs and long cycle. Cloud manufacturing, a new manufacturing mode has brought a new opportunity for the development of the forging industry and favor to help the forging industry to adapt to the current competitive market environment. Therefore, it is of important theory value and practical significance to research on cloud manufacturing technology for forging industry to build the cloud manufacturing service platform. This paper focuses mainly on the architecture and service management of cloud forging system. The main research contents in this paper are as follows:Firstly, after analyzing the problems of the current forging industry operation, requirement analysis on the application of cloud manufacturing in forging industry are made. Then the mode of forging cloud service are discussed. A six-layer architecture of cloud forging system is built up and the content and function of each layer are discussed in detail. The application process of cloud forging system is derived and key technologies of cloud forging system implementation are discussed.Secondly, the classification and description for forging resources is studied. The mechanism deploys the idea of resource service grouping according to the resource attributes similarity, and a layered resource service model for cloud forging is proposed based on the distributed hash table. Meanwhile, the discovery algorithms for multiple attribute are proposed based on the proposed model. Case analysis and algorithm complexity demonstrate that the proposed approach of forging resource service searching is feasible and effective. It can efficiently realize the resource services searching for the distributed cloud forging.Thirdly, the optimization model of attribute index are proposed based on the description of cloud forging resource service optimization. Rough set theory is used to solve the weight of each index, and the data is standardized because of different dimensional. The genetic algorithm is used to solve the optimization process of cloud forging resource. Case analysis and experiment validation demonstrate that the proposed approach of forging resource service optimization is feasible and effective. It can efficiently realize the resource services optimization.Fourthly, the optimization results of service scheduling problem are divided into two situations as conflict and non-conflict. In conflict case, the economics characteristics are introduced to cloud forging service scheduling, and the service consultation process are introduced. Service consultation scheduling strategy based on benefit drive, makes the maximum benefits of the service requester and service provider. In the non-conflict case, the allocation is described based on task priority.Finally, based on the above researches, a cloud forging service platform is developed. Taking a forging enterprise as application background of, the implementation environment, realization method and function of every module are presented.
