With the development of the intelligent city, many large cities are eager to introduce high quality outdoor advertising screen.Facts show that the monitoring means of existing outdoor advertising screen is too little and the strength of control is not enough.This paper is based on the actual needs of remote monitoring technology of outdoor advertising screen. The research object is the remote monitoring technology of outdoor advertising screen.The existing problems of this remote monitoring technology is studied deeper.The overall framework of the remote monitoring system of advertising screen based on C/S model is constructed in this paper.The design of the overall scheme of the advertising screen monitoring unit and the monitoring center is completed. The monitoring unit is responsible for collecting and uploading the monitoring information and image data,and control itself according to the collected information and the received instructions. The monitoring center is responsible for displaying and saving monitoring information and image data, and it can control advertising screen remotely. The monitoring unit and The monitoring center communicate via Ethernet and GSM. In the hardware of the monitoring unit, based on the STM32 microcontroller, the hardware of the monitoring unit is designed, including power module, the minimum system, the acquisition module, the control module and the communication module. In the software of the monitoring unit, the uC/OS-Ⅱ real time operating system and the uIP network protocol stack are transplanted. The software of the monitoring unit is designed from the bottom layer to the application layer, including acquisition part, control part, storage part and communication part. In the monitoring center, the process, which include the connection and disconnection of network, receiving data, processing data, sending Instruction and processing Baidu map, are designed based on the Studio Visual 2005 development environment and C# language. The script of a map is created using JavaScript language.Finally, the research findings is verified by the system test, and the experimental result is summarized and analyzed.The experiment shows that the research production on the outdoor advertising screen remote monitoring technology has the characteristics of advanced technology and practical application.The monitoring system is stable and reliable,and meet expected goals.The system can be used for practice purposes.
