A Comparative Study Of Radio And TV Majors In Chinese And Korean Universities

Radio and TV editing and directing is a new major in many colleges,which borned with the need of TV media industry.At the beginning of 21 st century. the culture of TV media is so prosperous.The need of people whose major is Radio and TV editing and directing are increasing. So, many colleges begin to establish the major of Radio and TV editing and directing.Till now,hundreds of colleges have been established this major.As a new specialty,it develops rapid, but it doesn’t have a integrated course system.At the same time,the situation of Media industry has changed,so the need of professional’s standard has changed a lot.This is another challenge of Radio and TV editing and directing’s development.Korea is developed country of TV media industry.Recently, Korean movie and television play and TV programme are popular with Chinese audiences.And China is learning from these.We can’t deny it, the rapid development of Korean media can’t leave their colleges. They have been training thousands of talents for the TV media industry. This paper will focus on Radio and TV editing and directing of China and video broadcast of Korea, and compare Chinese and Korean major setting, training objectives, course content and practice model.This paper is divided into six parts. The first part,mainly summarizes the development of our major and points out the quality of professional. The second part compares and analyzes of Chinese colleges and Korean’s. The third part mainly analyzes the training objectives of two countries via the research of students. The forth part is about the course content of two countries.The fifth part investigates and analyzes the practice model of two countries. The last part is a summary of this paper.Comparing with Korean advantages and the features of China about TV media industry, it gives some advice to improve professional development.At present, the kind of paper,to investigate the Radio and TV editing and directing,is not so many.To analyze the Korean and Chinese media industry,this kind of paper is a few.So, I hope my paper will help Radio and TV editing and directing’s improvement and perfection.
