Research And Analysis On Sports Equipment Management System

Along with the great progress of our society, modern elementary schools have more teaching resources to utilize. In terms of P.E., it means there are more sports equipment to be managed. This certainly brings more workload on staffs. Nowadays, by using newly appeared informationized management pattern, people from varied fields are able to improve their working efficiency as well as performance. Thus, education industry also could benefit from the new technology. The thesis presented below introduces a systematic design of a highly efficient computer-based management system for sports equipment. Before that, a comprehensive analysis on the currently used traditional management pattern was conducted. This project is provided to be a valuable example for informationized management of educational resources.The thesis first introduced the research background, the research purpose and the current application of computer-based management system for sports equipment, then the outline of the project was determined. During the business analysis, the existing problems of the current system were found, and the original business process was improved. In the subsequent function analysis, the function list was confirmed by using data flow analysis. The series of flow diagrams for both overall and sub-functions of the system were also showed. Furthermore, in the data analysis, the database tables were demonstrated with entity class diagram to clarify the data structure needed for the system. Finally the thesis made a summary of the whole project, and the future work was pointed out.
