Research And Analysis On The Online Examination System Of Chinese Telecom Company Employees

With the rapid development of internet industry, a plenty of traditional business processes have been overthrown by software in today’s society. Though, lots of enterprises and training institutions have established individual platform of distance education, the demands of online test still keep soaring. It is confirmed that using online examination systems not only help to enhance the fairness and objectivity of tests effectively, and reduce the workload of teachers and the stuffs engaged in testing work, but also contribute to improve students’learning enthusiasm.This paper based on the online training and testing system of China Telecom combining with the current situation of test-online systems development domestic and overseas to analyze and compare the new processes with the original ones as well as to determine the direction of further research. In the first place, together with the flow chart, a detailed analysis of China Telecom’s previous online test service system for clerks was made as a comparison to the coming new system discussed in the research, which added new modules to fulfill nowadays increasing demands and also illustrated by flow diagrams. And then, use case diagrams were employed to allocate roles in the new system in order to define the characteristics of roles and use case in the meanwhile describe the relations between them. Moreover, so as to complete the analysis, functional package diagrams were applied to explain the system function. After that, data analysis of system function was conducted to demarcate class diagrams of essential modules such as, test making management, test checking management, attending exam management, exam organizing management, essential data management, system management and so forth by taking use of thumbnail class diagrams. At last, a series of analyzing and designing works about the database were done, by means of entity class correlation diagrams and thumbnail class diagrams. Furthermore, in the end of the article, a conclusion of the study was drawn and the next step of the research was stated.
