With the rapid economic development happened in the whole world from the21st century, people’s life greatly changed. For computer technology increasingly extensive and in-depth applications, the network concept has long been popular in all people’s life. In order to allow consumers to shopping easily and conveniently, shopping online is getting a new-fashioned and popular shopping. In addition, company can display propaganda and service of all aspects of the businesses in the network, such as online shopping, information search and other functions. The online bookstores in the design and implementation of the topic, aims to develop an online bookstores, the realization enterprise and customers of trade between online.The paper introduced the research background of the online bookstores, an overview of the problem to be solved, discussed the study the meaning and importance of the project and describes the system development methodology and related technologies. The paper presents the design goals of the system, including business requirements, functional requirements, data requirements and non-functional requirements. Also given the business process diagrams, use case diagram and the concept of class diagrams, use case descriptions. It has been designed with B/S mode of three-tier structure, and use the entity class diagram, E-R diagram and database table structure of the database for the detailed design. The shopping online system can be divided into two parts:foregrounding and management. The former include online registration, online login, orderring books. The later includes management of goods’ information and order management.Finally, the paper give a summary of the contents of the study, explains my mainwork, pointing out the shortcomings of the paper, and prospected the further work.
