Recent years, with the rapid development of technology, the modern technology information provides convenience for many industries. The field of information management obtained the popularization.The traditional model of the university management is being replaced by the modern management. In order to further improve the management of laboratory in Art Department of Tourism and Cultual Yunnan University, deepen the reform of Education.After in-depth research,The research results on the basis of perfect,the analysis and design of Tourism and Cultual Yunnan University Art Department of laboratory information management system.Comply with the requirements of Tourism and cultual Yunnan University.Get out the Art Department of Tourist and Culture College of Yunnan University of laboratory management there are existing many problems, such as; practice teaching management and 1 laboratory management by the traditional way through on-site investigation and data analysis. Method is too backward, low efficiency, waste of resources, frequency errors; It is low efficiency that using manual paper arranges class work. The author analyzes the existing problems in the process of the course. Under the method of engineering design, introduce the computer aided function to improve the efficiency. In the laboratory equipment booking, the author optimized the equipment reservation process of laboratory equipment, reservation conflict detection is introduced. The time automatically assigned is to make an appointment process more efficient. In the design process, the author selects the object oriented development model, based on the actual needs of the system, using the software engineering design method, the system uses UML modeling tool to design the package diagram class diagram and case diagram which have good scalability and maintainability. This system uses the development of technology and modern mainstream management means to manage the laboratory,which provide practical methods to reduce the workload of staff,improve the efficiency of the laboratory teaching,standard practice teaching process,and also serve teaching and laboratory management better and better.
