The Regulation Of Building Facade Measure In The Ying Zao Fa Shi As The Example Of Tang-Song Dynasties Single Eaves Construction

This research is based on the analysis of single eaves construction examples of Tang-Song dynasties, to study on the building fa?ade measure regulation of the single eaves construction of Ying Zao Fa Shi,to show the various possibilities of the single eaves building fa?ade style and features during the Tang-Song dynasties. With architectural historiography methord,which is combined literature and actual examples, and simulation method, according to the analysis of actual examples,to simulate the measure regulation system of the single eaves construction.Combined this system with the general rules on the structural carpentry of Ying Zao Fa Shi, to study on the building fa?ade measure regulation of the single eaves construction indirectly by the way of graphic.This article includes two parts: the analysis of the actual examples and the research of the building fa?ade measure regulation of the singl e eaves construction of Ying Zao Fa Shi. The first part includes the analysis of Kai jian(bay),Pu zuo(bracket) and Chuan jia(depth).Furthermore,analyzing the relationship between the proportions of the relative dimensions and all parts of the facade, plane. Through the analysis,the outside eaves columns with Wu pu zuo and Qi pu zuo(two kinds of bracket) is common.At the second part, according to these two kinds of bracket, to simulate the measure regulation system of the single eaves construction and study on building fa?ade measure regulation,including width of bay,the length of rafter and depth of bay,plan, height of column,roof.Conclusions: the width of the middle bay is between the height of column and the Yan gao(the height of column and bracket),othe rwise it prefers to the height of column when the numbers of bay increases.Furthermore,the roof-frame is influnced by the building types and forms, Chuan jia(depth),width of bay at least.
