Research On Remodeling Design Of Public Space For The Old-age Care Of "Urban Village" In Xiamen

Under the new current affairs background, the village pay more attention in village construction, especially in "urban village". The aged in "urban village" used to be farmers or fishermen, they lack of knowledge or skills,which makes them becomes very boring and embarrassing after the "Land Reform" as new urban residents.Therefore, it is very urgent for the elderly in "urban village".However, the development condition of "urban village" is limit, public space is lagging and unable to meet the needs of the elderly. Therefore, the public activities of the "urban village" has been built the space of fitness old transformation design, than to build new facilities for short period less investment, which can solve most of the needs of older persons in the shortest time.It is imperative for optimal decision-making, and has the characteristic of low cost, quick effect, and the value of sustainable development.During the study, it use architecture, urban planning as the main courses support,integrated use of multi-disciplinary cross complement, including demographic,social, security studies, gerontology, geography, physiology, psychology disciplines,the literature data collection, country field survey,and chart analysis method to studied.The results show that there are three types of public space in "urban village",which is the space of the internal public space of the religious space, the outer space of the religious space and the independent type of public space. Focusing on these three types, the three parts research are as follow:First, analysis the regional characteristics of the public space of "urban village" in Xiamen, the requirements of the elderly in Xiamen and the needs of Xiamen regional,which summarize the type of public activity space in "urban village" in Xiamen.It is prepare for future research.Secondly, it combined with "urban village" from the construction and development of the research background, the characteristics of the elderly and f the characteristics of the three types of public space, it is concluded that the requirements and functions of the different types of public activity space, and the various types of public space can be modified and prepare for the remodeling design strategy after.Finally, according to the characteristics and requirements of the three types of public space, the detailed principles and strategies are proposed, and verified by the concrete examples and the transformation of "urban village".
