Curb parking as a type parking to alleviate the imbalance contradiction between supply and demand of urban parking system to a certain extent. However, its setting severely compressed the non-motorized vehicles riding space. It has a serious impact on the behavior and efficiency of non-motorized vehicles. Analysis and measurement the interference mechanism for curb parking to non-motorized vehicles riding have a positive effect to weaken and improve the interference for curb parking to non-motorized vehicles. It is the theoretical basis of proposing traffic design method and control strategy. The paper studied the mechanism of inte rference on the curbing parking to non-motorized vehicles from the macro and micro level respectively.The paper started from traffic characteristics of the non-motorized vehicles from curb parking area, researched the statistical distribution on the characteristics of the non-motorized vehicles speed, the characteristics of the arrival and the relationship of traffic flow parameters v-K and studied the influence of the non-motorized vehicles travel time, driving behavior from the curbing parking from the effective width, the utilization of parking. According to conflict representation of the curb parking area, defined the conflict between the motor vehicles and the non-motorized vehicles and get on statistical analysis the conflict behavior and vehicle hedging behavior of non-motorized vehicles. In addition, studied the non-motorized vehicles group behavior at curb parking area from the macro perspec tive and build the nonmotorized vehicles group behavior model of curb parking. The paper carried out the force analysis for the individual riding process of non-motorized vehicles at curb parking from the micro perspective and built the non-motorized vehicles social force model.This research got the distribution type of the non-motorized vehicles speed characteristics, arrival characteristics and the relation of traffic flow parameters of non-motorized vehicles at curb parking and revealed the influence r egular pattern for non-motorized vehicles speed, travel time, riding behavior and conflict by curb parking from the effective width, berth utilization and so on. Constructed group behavior model of the non-motorized vehicles and simulated the riding process of the non-motorized vehicles avoiding the curb parking. Analyzed the mechanism of interfering of non-motorized vehicles by curb parking from a macro point of view. Constructed the social force model of the non-motorized vehicles at curb parking and revealed the curb parking as a virtual force is applied to the human individual units and generated interference on the riding behavior of the non-motorized vehicle.
