Research On The Landscape Preference Of Urban Parks Based On The Model Of Designers And Users

Along with the urbanization and the rapid development of our country,people’s demand for leisure and recreation places in the city is increasing day by day. The continuous improvement of living standards also makes the urban residents put forward new requirements on the quantity, quality and form of urban parks. At the same time, the landscape architect is also in the constant practice of reflection of the design and construction of urban public space and the actual needs of the user’s actual needs and satisfaction. In this paper, we used POE(employed photography visitor) and GIS spatial analysis method to study the landscape elements in urban parks.The research was divided into two parts: dynamic experiment(experiment 1and experiment 2)and Photo test(experiment 3). In the experiment 1, we chose college students as the participants witch with the professional background and non professional background. Golden Park in Harbin City as the object in experiment 1,the completed research mode of assessment( POE) and independent imaging method to study professional background on people’s landscape perception factors influence, from the differences in the two dimensions of time and space of the people’s landscape preferences. In experiment 2,we chose college students with non professional background as the participants. As different types city parks have different landscape features, we chose three different parks as the research objects.Through the comparison of the visitors’ landscape preference and behavior orientation in the modern, traditional, ecological city park, we wanted to know if different landscape characteristics can cause visitors’ different preference landscape preference. In experiment 3,the participants were asked to score the photos from experiment 2,we compared two evaluation methods and find the difference.The purpose of this paper is to provide a new evaluation dimensions and method for post occupancy evaluation of urban park. Base on the evaluation method of "designer-users", surrounding the landscape design target, the paper discussed the link between the designers’ works and the users’ experiences with behavior and preferences of visitors. We did urban parks as the research object, used the method of index evaluation, the visitor employed photography and the GIS spatial analysisto research visitors’ preference of landscape element.
