The motor is one of the most important items in production and living, while the rotor is indispensable parts. Due to defects in design, material and process, the rotor is bound to be unbalanced. When rotating at high speed, the unbalance is bound to cause vibration and noise, even danger. Therefore, the rotor needs to be balanced.At present, the dynamic balancing of rotor correction methods mainly includes manual and automatic methods. Manual correction has many defects, for example, it requires enough operation experience, and its working cycle is longer than the other, more importantly, it will exist individual differences; therefore, we need an efficient and accurate dynamic balancing machine to meet the needs of the motor rotor dynamic balance. Although some foreign manufacturers have high balancing precision machine, it costs a lot, require high maintenance, and be difficult to improve the supporting facilities. So, we study how to research and develop an automatic dynamic balancing machine in accordance with the present situation.Based on the experience of automatic dynamic balancing machine of China and the abroad, combined with the present situation, we’d better define the target function of the automatic dynamic balancing machine and refine processes, designing the hardware structure of system. According to the hardware structure design, we complete the selection of main components of hardware system, including industrial control computer, motion control card, touch screen, at the same time, to pin assignment and wiring of control card, to design the hardware circuit.For the target function of balancing machine, we need to design the control system program. Adopt the architecture of back and fore, combined with the idea of modular design and master-slave control, we divided the system program into four parts, such as the main control system module, the branch control system module, the communication module, and the UI module. Design of the system program, will involve some related technical problems, for example, to identify unbalance, to extract the unbalanced information from signals of vibration, to realize the balance between quickness and smoothness.Finally, we experiment on the system and analyze the results. The main test includes efficacy and safety of positioning test, effect of dispensing test, and effect of the whole machine test. Results show that the performance is good.
