Motor rotor is familiar with us as a rotating part in our daily life. It has been widely used in household appliance, robots, electric tools and all kinds of motor. Because of the influences of the material, the machining and the assembly, the rotors in high speed rotating often make noises and vibration, shorten the life-span of the product. Therefore. It is necessary to balance each motor rotor.At present. Many small and medium business in our country are still using production process which detection and ridding unbalance were separated .That is to say ,the worker firstly measured the unbalance of the rotor, Secondly, the workers open the milling machine or drilling machine to removal the material of the rotor by the measured results. It may result in the low product efficiency and the low machining accuracy. With the need of production and life, the speed of the rotor has becoming high speed and high precision, so the traditional manual correction method can't meet the new production requirements. An automatic dynamic balancing system with a high efficiency is needed for meet the correction requirements of the rotor. Although the domestic market has been appeared in an automatic machines which were made of foreign countries, it can't meet the need of the small and medium business in our country because of its high price and poor adaptability of various type of the rotor. Therefore. Research on the automatic dynamic balancing system of motor rotor for the small and medium business in our country in this thesis.Based on the design experience of dynamic balancing measurement and ridding unbalance of China and the abroad, combined with production status, building integrated framework of automatic balancing machine by using modular design method, and making on function specification and action analysis in detail for detection module, manipulator and ridding unbalance process module ,they are belong to one part of the whole machine.According to achieve the function of the machine, the system structure is determined and the control system which is reasonable and reliable is designed. By using the idea of master slave control, the system is divided into two parts: PLC control system and SCM control system . The functions of the two parts have been analyzed in detail in this thesis. In addition, the automatically run program of system and man-machine interface dialogue were developed.Ridding material process is to ensure the machining accuracy of the rotor. It has been established R milling model and using PRO/E software to simulation milling removal material of the rotor. According to the initial unbalance of the rotor very big, it has been established removal material process planning of the rotor and can solve the problem of overlapping of milling area.Finally, the whole system has been debugged, the results of debugging show that the balancing machine can achieve the anticipated function and it has good market prospects.
