Commercial street is not only a place which provide shopping,leisure,and other activities,but also a public space which represents the urban style and features.In recent years,with the rapid development of urban commercial,commercial street is becoming more and more important in the city’s public life,and the construction of commercial street has become the current hot problems of the city construction.In front of widespread problems of the current commercial street such as lack of humanization,taking typical case in Nanjing for example,found the problem and put forward improving strategies.It’s impornt to the construction of commercial streets of our country.In this paper,first of all, three kinds of related basic research such as the development process of commercial pedestrian street,the pedestrian behavior characteristics,the characteristics of commercial pedestrian space were reviewed,which provides the theoretical foundation for the later research.Then,use the method of POE,selecting three typical commercial street in Nanjing old town:Xinjiekou,Confucius temple and Lion bridge commercial street,and put forward the specific method combine of qualitative and quantitative evaluation from two aspects of physical space and commercial interface, which provides the the method foundation for the later research.Then carry on the survey data collection of three typical commercial block through the questionnaire survey,field exploration,behavior observation and other methods.Using SPSS and EXCELL software to analyze data,then analysis the three aspects:the user group,physical environment,business interface.,come to the problems of three typical commercial block in Nanjing.According to the existing problem of three commercial block, the construction strategy.of Nanjing old town commercial street are put forward from five aspects such as the space combination,layout,landscape environment,walking environment,public facilities and function. |
