Sulige gas field exploration area distribution in the Mu Us Desert of South Central, is located in the northwest of the Ordos Basin, exploration area of 4 * 104km2. Construction scale 230 *108m3/a, is China’s largest self-contained tight gas, due to the influence by the low cost control strategy, field dedicated road less investment, construction is lagging behind,block gas field can rely on the local road network is less, so the road supporting force of gas field construction.In the Maowusu Desert Area, in addition to all the aeolian sand, little or no other available materials. Therefore, how to make full use of local sand gas field to special road subgrade and pavement structure, reduce road materials and reduce the long distance transportation of key fields in special road construction cost.Combined with Xi’an Changqing Technology Engineering Co., Ltd. Chang’an University scientific research project "Sulige gas field in the desert area of subgrade and pavement structure optimization study, the gas field dedicated road subgrade and pavement diseases,Maowusu Desert Area of engineering properties and gas fields in the region and the surrounding existing local materials research, to explore suitable for the special circumstances of the Mu Us Desert pavement materials, to develop a more suitable for Sulige gas field in desert areas of special road roadbed and pavement structure, guide the design and construction of the following special road. It is very important to improve the quality of the construction of the desert road, reduce the cost of construction, prevent the disease of the road in the desert area, and reduce the cost of the later maintenance.This study is based on the Soviet Union and Eastern Sulige gas field gathering station-XX Station Road, based on the analysis of research status at home and abroad on the road through the desert, the desert road has been built in Sulige gas field of pavement structure and subgrade slope reinforcement, prevention measures, investigation materials, main disease type combined with the special road, on the embankment height and slope design technology recommend, desert roads and reasonable height of subgrade slope, the embankment slope protection technology, provides the basis for the design of road embankment; studied desert pavement material composition and structure design, the first study in Maowusu hinterland aeolian sand engineering characteristics, to provide theoretical support and reinforce the stability of wind blown sand. Secondly according to the principle of the materials is proposed with three sand seal technology, three kinds of inorganic binder stabilized Aeolian sand(cement stabilized sand, lime stabilized mixture of sand, cement and lime stabilized mixedsand. Finally, based on the existing special road pavement type, according to the material of the desert regions of typical pavement structure and the Sulige area of investigation, special road pavement typical structure.The most economical and effective commander seal and pavement structure is determined by paving the test road, field test and long term observation and analysis indoor inorganic binder stabilized wind product sand material performance and fixing seal form the effect of.
