| It is necessary to adopt appropriate maintenance technology to restore or improve the performance of the pavement surface as the performance of pavement will decrease to some extent after the pavement is putted into use.At present,the study of preventive maintenance technology is generally from the point of view of maintenance materials,namely proportioning design.In fact,performance of pavement seal is also affected by the original pavement surface,which is often neglected in the research of pavement preventive maintenance seal technology.In order to reveal the influence of surface texture on pavement performance of sealing layer,asphalt rutting slabs with different surface texture depth and cement concrete slabs with different grooving treatment were prepared to simulate actual pavement,then Thermosetting Inserting Chip Seal(TICS).Finally,the bonding performance and durability of TICS pavement were studied,and the texture characteristics of TICS pavement were analyzed with digital image processing technology.In this paper,the requirement of 110%~150% coverage of crushed stone is put forward.And,combining with Mcleod model,the amount of TICS binder and aggregate is designed.By paving TICS on the simulated asphalt pavement and cement pavement indoors,the early cohesion,tensile strength,wear value and wear value after freeze-thaw cycle were investigated,and the relationship model between pavement performance parameters and pavement texture depth was established,and the optimal pavement texture condition of TICS application environment was determined.the reasonable curing time of TICS is put forward;the relationship model of structure depth-bond strength and structure depth-abrasion value was established to determine the optimal pavement texture condition of TICS seal application environment.The freeze-thaw cycle test was carried out and the wear index per unit area was defined.After two freeze-thaw cycles,TICS still has good wear resistance and skid resistance,wear value is less than 40%,friction coefficient is 60-65 BPN.Compared with traditional preventive maintenance methods,TICS has better bonding performance and durability.In addition,the digital images before and after the implementation of TICS were obtained,then the pavement texture depth was obtained by using MATLAB image processing technology,and the three-dimensional model of pavement texture was reconstructed.The image morphological parameters,such as the area of convex area,the point position and the threshold frequency distribution of concave area are defined,and the relationship model between the image morphological parameters and the road performance index of TICS is established.The results showed that the parameters such as the area,equivalent diameter and quantity of the convex closed zone are closely related to the gradation of the underlying mixture;there is a linear relationship between the morphological parameters of the image and the texture depth of the underlying strata;after the implementation of TICS,the number of upper convex and closed areas with equivalent diameter ranging from 2mm to 8 mm increased significantly,and the number of upper convex and closed areas with diameter less than 6mm increased gradually with the decrease of texture depth of the original pavement surface;the proportion of upper convex and closed areas varied from 18.6% to 25.9%.It shows that TICS surface texture is more uniform,resulting in higher driving comfort.According to the characteristics of early pavement diseases and maintenance requirements,combined with laboratory test results and engineering experience,the construction technology and material technical requirements of TICS of asphalt pavement and cement pavement is proposed,which can provide technical guidance for practical engineering application. |
