In recent years,according to the policy of rebuilding Yushu after the earthquake issued by the State Council of China,and in order to realize the West Development Strategy,developing national road system and transportation capability of the west part of china,making sure that the road lifeline to Yushu is unblocked,the Transportation Department of Qinghai Province not only has been working on the unobstructiveness of 214 national road from Gonghe to Yushu,but also starting to build higher level road there,aiming to improve the road condition from Xining to Yushu.Highway has so many advantages such as:high speed,strong traffic capacity,efficient material distribution and better economic benefit.However,at the same time,it raises the request of controlling frost heaving of roads.As known,soil temperature is the main factor of controlling frost heaving of roads.So,this paper chooses three typical experimental roadbed sections(XPS roadbed,stone roadbed,vent pipe roadbed)of 214 national road,which was built on permafrost regions of china,to research following four aspects:1)Collecting research achievements and technical materials domestic and overseas,and based on these materials and geological conditions of experimental roadbed,this paper finds out proper structure of experimental roadbed.2)Formulating proper geothermal survey solutions suited to 214 national road,according to former geothermal survey solutions.3)Choosing three different forms of roadbeds and proceeding geothermal survey of the three different roadbeds.By analyzing data,this paper gives summarization of regular changing rules of ground temperature on different roadbeds as time and depth changing.Also,it can provide enough technical support for future design and construction on permafrost region.4)By comparing characters of the changing curve of geothermal survey on these three roadbeds,this paper finds out proper structure of roadbed that can prevent roadbed frost heaving happening.
