| With the rapid development of economy, highway infrastructure is gradually extended todesert region. But at present, with the influence of special engineering geological environmentin desert areas, it must be a focus of planning and considering before super highway projectapproval that how to ensure desert highway construction quality and at the same time, reducethe construction cost, and maximize the maintenance and further improvement of desertenvironment as well.On the basis of reference materials at home and abroad and engineering survey, the paperanalyzes sand environment characteristics in desert areas, probes into common disease typesand its causation of desert highway subgrade slope. In accordance with the use of drift-sand ofdifferent grading in subgrade, specific parameters and statistical laws of physical andmechanical characters have been obtained through systematically contrast tests of variousgrading samples. Combined with supporting engineering, choice of construction machinery,construction techniques and attentions of construction detection of drift-sand of differentgrading are analyzed. In the meantime, according to the engineering surveys, outdoor andindoor tests, the study on calculation theory and method of drift-sand subgrade slope stabilityhas been carried out, bringing forward practical theories and methods according with thecharacteristics of the desert subgrade, as well as calculation and analysis combining withengineering entity. Based on the field survey and construction of operated desert highway,desert area subgrade slope design principle, technical index, the relevant typical slope designsection diagrams and specific parameters are put forward in the paper. |
