With the increasing of urban area, residents’ travel distance has be more larger, for the convenience of travel and with the gradual increase in per capita income, people like to buy cars for private travel. According to statistics, since 2007, the amount of China’s automobile compound growth rate reached 14.9%, breaking 1.63 billion. Urban traffic congestion is directly putting on the "13th Five-Year Plan". In many opinions and suggestions, public transport as the prefertoolsare used to treat the disease of urban traffic. Bus as the earliest and the most common car of public transport gives a hand in the development of urban traffic. Bus is a large volume, door-to-door transportation mean, not only convenient but also economic,but bus also has many defects, suchasunpunctual, time table is not stable, service efficiency is not high, experience is not good.Especially the bus bunching, bring so many troubles to bus services.In order to solve the problem of bus bunching, this paper focuses on the study of what is the bus bunching, why the bus can be bunching, and how to interfere with the bus bunching through technical means. This paper begins with an overview of what is the bus bunching, and by reading the relevant literatures, data and achievements, then to interfere the bus bunching in five aspects of evaluation factors. This paper studies the definition of bus bunching and the judgment method; Secondly,processing the bus 600 Road data to get the useful information;Next, by using data analysis, this paper gives a comprehensive analysis of the characteristics of the indicators and bus operation data. Through the graph and data table, this paper analyzes the characteristics of the early bus, early peak and flat peak. According to the data collected from bus bunching, giving the judgment of bus bunching and threshold of bus bunching;Fourth,based on the speed-road congestion model to construct the bus bunching model.Improving the magnetic model to elaborate the bus bunching in math theory;Finally,integrating the second, third and fourth chapter, based on the judgment of the bus head spacing and optimal system efficiency as the goal, establish the bunching control model. And then take the model into the control system.
