Research On The Optimization Of Plant Space Design In Xi’an City Square Based On Behavior Psychology

Landscape Architecture is the design of the feeling of space.It’s ultimate goal is creating a beautiful and impressive place for human experience.As the basic medium plants can define a space in a Landscape Architecture place,it is the most basic leisure environment factors.Plants design is also one of the core elements of landscape architecture design.The existing studies of plants design have focused on visual ornamental characteristics,ecological functions and function of construction.It is very limited of studies on the relation between plants space shape and human behaviors.This study attempts to explorate on the regulation of plant space in public activities.And put up city square as the main object for further analysis about the interaction of people behavior and space.Providing a humanized design of urban space in plants with new ideas by putting forward some of the targeted square space design optimization strategy.Based on the environmental behavior, social psychology, typology and phenomenological theory, with research method of combining the subject and the object,to solve how to make the plant space more psychological and how can it satisfy the mass behaviors. In the Study, the square plant space is divided into four types,the mentioned space, transitional space, boundary space and the path space.It analysis of plant in square to the space limit, organization and construction of public action to guide and influence by behavior note method, dynamic observation method combined with the interview method.To analysis the status question after the typical xi’an city square space case investigation.And than purifying square space pattern about public behavior and spatial design languages.Provides the high quality for the space of plant landscape design strategy,and to provide the reference for the similar project design and researchin the future for reference.
