The Study Of Museum Design Based On Displaying Existing Industry Of Old Industrial Buildings

With the global industrial structure adjustment, the domestic "retreat into three" policy implementation, industrial society increasingly decline, the large number of old industrial buildings in a city waste becomes idle land. These old industrial buildings have gone through a historical process from being demolished to reuse. The mode of the transformation is more and more diversified, not only the direction of commercial, catering, entertainment, office, as well as the direction of public buildings, such as art galleries, exhibit space.Since the nineteen seventies and eighties, the museum which based on displaying existing industry of the old industrial building, has become a new mode of renovation in rapid development. The transformation of the old plant into a museum to display the existing industry, not only to maximize the protection of old industrial buildings, so that people understand the history of the industrial age. Some of the traditional industrial cities solved economic difficulties through these museums, the development of industrial tourism promote tertiary industry development. This transformation model for the era of memory retention, urban characteristics to create, promote economic development and urban industrial science has played an irreplaceable role.The main content of this paper is divided into four parts, five chapters:The first chapter is to put forward questions, describes the background, concepts, summary for the development process of the transformation of old industrial buildings abroad, the purpose and significance of research, research objects and contents.The second chapter is to analyze problems, summarizes the existing industry comprehensive value of the museum exhibition, characteristics of the old industrial buildings which suit for transformed into the museum displaying the existing industry. Finally, put forward the principle of transformation.Chapter III, Chapter IV is the solution to the problem, through the excellent case of inductive analysis, summed up the interior design and exterior design of the museum based on displaying the old industrial building existing industry.The fifth chapter is the theory with practice, combined with the author’s project practice. Analysis the design of Suqian glass museum old plant transformation with the strategic approach summarized in the text.The paper summarize techniques of design of museum based on displaying existing industry of old industrial buildings.
