Penetration of projectile into target is an important research topic in the field of military industry and protection engineering. The experiments of the prototype of the penetration need to consume a lot of manpower and resources. The numberical simulation on the base of proper experiment is an important supplement to the prototype experiment. Penetration in high overload tends to damage the fuse, affecting the data’s acquisition and function. In this paper, I combine of theory, experiment and simulation, the research results can provide basic knowledge for the research of fuze overload protection. The main research contents are as follows:1. Theoretical study on the penetration of projectiles into concrete targetby comparative analysis of the characteristics, applicable range and conditions to use of different penetration depth of experience formula, this paper expounds the influence of the impact velocity, target plate material strength, target plate thickness and shapes of warhead to the penetration process.2. Experimental study on the penetration to concrete target of projectilesTaking the 152 mm caliber primary gun as the experimental platform, the missile body system is designed for penetration into concrete target experiment. The installation in the missile test system to obtain the penetration overload curve; by high-speed camera system placing the concrete target can observed the penetration process, through high speed camera obtained the target speed; analysis to the experimental results and the measured acceleration curve.3. Experimental data processing based on Matlab signal processing.The Matlab signal processing toolbox is used to filter the acceleration curve obtained from the penetration experiment. Filtering noise process has undergone the process of wavelet decomposition, wavelet coefficients thresholding and wavelet reconstruction. After filtering, the curve is obviously optimized and interfered.4. Numerical simulation study of projectile penetrating concrete targetUsing numerical simulation method to study the process of oval headed projectile into concrete, the overload change of projectile was analyzed, and the results of the calculation theory, experiment and numerical simulation results were compared, obtaining the advantages and disadvantages of various calculation methods. Finally, for the further analysis of the influence of various factors on the penetration performance, using numerical simulation to study the effects of two factors: target board thickness, velocity at the beginning of the penetration, and got the relationship between different factors and the penetration depth and overload, projectile design for the future laid the foundation.
