As demand for culture increases by each passing day, the global exhibition industries are developing vigorously. Thus, exhibition buildingsare evolving into a "cultural phenomenon", which contains a rich culture and great cultural value, attracting the widespread concern of the whole society. Cultural property of exhibition buildings is the most important property to distinguish them from other buildings. The successful expression of exhibition architectural culture is the key attribute of an outstanding architectural design. This paper is based on the relevant architectural theories of typology, phenomenology and semiotics. Cutting from a cultural perspective and combining with a large number of outstanding architectural creation examples, it chooses exhibition buildingas the research object to research cultural development trend of contemporary architecture as well as its cultural representation in base environment,architectural space, architectural style and epidermis of buildings, through which it summarizes cultural expression method of the Expo building in terms of architectural forms, providing a reference for the practices of the exhibition building in the current construction boom.This paper is divided into five parts.Firstly, it discusses the research background, significance, purpose, subjectsrelated to the topic. Secondly, it expounds the development process and the related cultural attribute concepts of exhibition buildings, and summarizes features of contemporary exhibition building designs, providing a theoretical basis for the following study. According to the natural and cultural environment in different cities elaborated in the third part, it researches and discussesfrom an overallperspective the development of contemporary exhibition architectural culture attributes. The fourth part is the study of the exhibition architectural culture attributesin a broad aspect of styles. It analyzes architectural culture connotation respectively from the site, building space, architectural models and detailsof architectural surface. Finally, it makesa conclusion for the whole text and describes the development of exhibition architectural design in the future.
