Application Of Environmental Visual Design In Guangzhou Vanke Opalus

Due to the standardization of design that carried out by real estate industry,design units disregard to the creation of theme, making the lack of expressiveness of theme,or even the lack of theme. This article is aim to the high-level residential area which real estate industry develops the most, solving the problem of lacking expressiveness by introducing environment vision design.The design of the living area is belong to Arts Creating, which is demanding the sense of theme. The theme is invisible, which is necessary to be expressed by the material factors of environment, and translate into cognition by vision. Graphics, words and colors are the most effective ways of expressing in Vision Communication, According to the definition of Semiology, symbols contain the meaning of “Signifier” and “Mean”, that’s mean containing the form of material and the meaning of spirit. Graphics, words and colors were generally called Vision Symbol after been symbolized, and able to be the carrier of theme. The figure base principle of Gestalt psychology consider that, graphics with outline and be active can bring out attention, therefore, is able to improve the expressiveness of theme by using figure base principle, with the vision symbol in the environment space, to create a place with spirits. The application of graphic symbol in environment space of residential area, is the same way as strengthen the Two-dimensional expression in Three-dimensional space, that’s what the article discussing about Environment Vision design.Environment vision design is the transboundary application of Visual Communication Design, but they have the same vision language. First of all, extract the image factors from the theme, then use the image factors to recreate the design factors in environment space, turning it into vision symbol. At the end, dividing the environment space of high-level residential area by according to the explanation about “five factors to recognize city” in 《Image of the City》, and analyse the character of environment space, linking the vision symbol and environment space together, show up a topical and artistic environment of residential area.
