In the context of the urbanization process, the basic materialistic consumption cannot meet people’s growing consumer demand, which led to the high-speed development of large commercial buildings. Many multi-functional personalized commercial shopping center built in such rapid expansion, has become an integral part of people’s daily life. The quality of the construction of commercial buildings as well as the built environment has also become a hotspot and it is necessary to examine whether the environment of commercial buildings meet the users’ psychological and behavioral needs or not, aim to creating an attractive commercial space.This paper select has the typical four cases in Xujiahui business district, Shanghai, investigating the usage of large commercial buildings’ built environment, including many aspects, such as its location and the external space environment, landscape facilities, consumer psychology and behavioral activities. Based on post-occupancy evaluation theory, adopting the methods of survey, questionnaire and quantitative analysis and using spss software, it finally give a comprehensive evaluation to Xujiahui’s internal and external environment, and make a comparative analysis of the four cases.Finally,on the basis of theoretical and practical researching, this paper had summarized its contents and discussed the affection of evaluation index for commercial building. Besides, it tried to propose suggestions which could meet users’ requirements for commercial building design reference in the future. What’s more, to creating the satisfied commercial building environment for customers.
