Text:Basic on the study of history of five sects of Zen. The logic of the text is the spread of the veins. The main context of the study is development of the sectarian representative temples and the important Zen Buddhist temples construction layout.Then summarized the regular pattern of these temples. At last, use these patterns in the design of Jizu Mountain Fangguang Temple.The text divides into seven chapters:The first chapter is the introduction of the topic and the text. This paper introduced the research background, the object, the significance and the goal, the research method and the innovation point, then listed the frame of the whole paper.The point of the paper is clear the reason why the writer choice this topic. Beside of these, in the first chapter, the history of the Zen and separated the history into tow parts.The second chapter is the introduced of early development of Zen temples. The logic of the chapter is the development of the Zen clime. Introduce the spread of the representative temples. Then chose several important temples, introduced these temples layout in each dynasty.In the third chapter, the fourth chapter, the fifth chapter, based on the claim of five sects, introduced the development of representative temples of Caodong Zong,Linji Zong, Weiyang Zong, Yunmen Zong and Fayan Zong. Then chose important temples of five sects, and introduced these temples.The third chapter takes Caodong Zong as the main object, and takes the development of Caodong Zong as the logic thread, and the time limits from the Tang Dynasty to the Qing Dynasty. Then introduced the spread of several representative temples. Choose Zhenru temple and Tiantong temple as the sample of Caodong important temples, to introduce these temples’ layout.The forth chapter takes Linji Zong as the main object, and takes the development of Linji Zong as the logic thread, and the time limits from the Tang Dynasty to the Qing Dynasty. Then introduced the spread of several representative temples. ChooseHuangbo temple and Xuefeng temple, Lingying Temple, Ayuwang Temple and Shengen Temple as the sample of Linji Zong important temples, to introduce these temples’ layout.The fifth chapter includes three sects: Weiyang Zong, Yunmen Zong and Fayan Zong. As these sects disappeared quickly, the time limit for each case from origin until the disappearance of the claim. Basic on the claim of these sects, the article researches representative temples of each sect. Then chooses Qingliang Temple and Jingci Temple as sample of these sects to study their layout.In the sixth chapter, through the development of Zen temples of all five sects and the study of important temples layout,summarize the rules and regulations of these temples. The logic of these rules and regulations is the change of dynasties.In the seventh chapter, the text uses these rules and regulations in the design of Jizu Mountain Fangguang Temple.
