Agriculture cultural heritage is the testimony of the long history of agricultural development in our country and is the reflection of the national wisdom and spirit. The protection of agriculture cultural heritage has very far-reaching significance for the prosperity of culture in rural areas. Agriculture cultural heritage site is not only "the historical and cultural heritage site" but also"the place of rural life and production ".So, the scientific development of the site should focus on both the protection of agriculture cultural heritage and the rural development But now, the status of agriculture cultural heritage is not clear in Chinese heritage protection system and the protection efforts are far from enough. By the same time, the urbanization wave makes serious threat to the existence and development of agriculture cultural heritage.The good news is that unprecedented attention is paid to the New-style Urbanization and the coordinate development of urban and rural areas during the transformation time. Also, the launch of "Globally important agriculture cultural heritage project" and"Chinese important agriculture cultural heritage project" raised a boom of research concerning the protection and the utilization of agriculture heritage. Under this background, establishing an comprehensive, coordinated,sustainable and scientific development view on agriculture cultural heritage sites and constructing holistic and appropriate rural planning measures are reasonable.The paper tries to answer what can agriculture cultural heritage does for rural development under the background of the New-style Urbanization(background) and how to make an balance between agriculture cultural heritage protection and rural development through rural planning.For the purpose of expanding the vision of theory research concerning the heritage protection and the rural planning and providing useful principles and methods for the scientific development of the heritage sites, the paper discussed the rural planning method of agriculture cultural heritage site.First of all,based on researches about the world and Chinese cultural heritage protection system and the protection and utilization of agriculture cultural heritage, the paper gets several conclusions.The first one is that the current attention and efforts are far from enough; the second one is that researches are limited in the field concerning agriculture history, geography, ecology, agriculture which can never complete the important task to guide the protection and the development under the macro background of New-style Urbanization.Therefore, the paper puts forward that we should not only strengthen the protection of agricultural cultural heritage but also seek the correspondence of heritage protection and rural development based on the comprehensive cognition of "value system".So that we can finally realize the upgrade of the concept of the cultural heritage protection.Secondly, taking Dangtu,Da Gongwei as an example,the paper deeply analyzed the contradictions of rural development and protection of cultural heritage,and also analyzed the value system of agriculture cultural heritage site. Through the analysis of the unity of the rural development and the utilization of agriculture cultural heritage,the paper proposed the methods of the utilization and the industry development plan.Then, based on the summary of the predicament of current rural planning and reflection of the traditional rural planning practice,the paper proposed the particularity and the complexity of rural planning of Da Gongwei,after that,the paper proposed the rural planning method based on the protective exploit.Lastly, the paper put forward the universal strategies of rural development and rural planning method for agriculture cultural heritage site. The development strategies including five theories:the regional symbiosis theory which emphasizes making determination of the rural development of heritage site from regional system; the urban and rural coordination theory which values the rational allocation of urban and rural resources through the utilization of the agriculture cultural heritage resource;the industrial integration theory which pays attention to theconstruction of characteristic rural industry system on the basis of the local resource; the spatial integration theory that emphasizes making space development strategies oriented by industry layout, land consolidation and environment situation;the cultural identity theory which underlines that agriculture cultural heritage should be incorporated into the modern life in rural areas.The rural planning should follow the step as " determining the boundary-choosing the rural development model-making the protection and utilization strategy constructing the content and the framework of rural planning-mastering the key points"...
