Study On The Construction Quality Control And Of Asphalt Pavement In Tibet Area

The traffic conditions in Tibet area relatively fall behind because of the special conditions, but the development prospect of which is wide and has a significant influence on the development of economy, politics and safety. In recent decades, the asphalt pavement is developing rapidly and has achieved abundant research results. Meanwhile, the asphalt pavement has been widely applied because it has plenty of advantages, such as high driving comfort, good flatness, low noisy and easy to maintain. However, the construction of asphalt pavement in Tibet area is still in a continuingly develop and improve process and the construction quality of highway asphalt pavement is still the key factor affecting the road driving. Therefore, the paper is aimed at the research on the construction quality control so as to provide guidance in asphalt pavement construction of the area.(1) Conduct a survey on the meteorological data of Tibet area and analyze the air temperature, precipitation, solar radiation, as well as the pavement condition, the pavement distress and the forming cause. Besides, analyze the variability of raw materials such as asphalt and aggregate.(2) Based on the commonly used types of asphalt concrete gradation in Tibet area and aimed at the features of asphalt mixture to conduct the analysis of variability, then summarize the influence factors of asphalt mixture variability, and propose corresponding measures for quality control and solution for improving variability. As for the segregation problem of asphalt, apply relevant evaluating indicators to evaluate asphalt mixture, according to the special environment of Tibet area.(3) Regard flatness and compaction degree as indictors and propose compaction technology and variation characteristic, and analyze the influence factors of compaction degree of asphalt pavement and its improvement measures. As for the variation of asphalt pavement flatness, analyze the corresponding influence factors of flatness variation.(4) Regard the Hala-Kunlun Highway as the supporting project, conduct dogging monitoring on the flatness and compaction degree of asphalt pavement, respectively, in the design, construction, operation period, and propose scheme on the improvement of flatness.The research has shown that, it has significant reference value that proposing controlling measures on the construction quality of asphalt pavement, following the analysis and discuss on the raw materials of asphalt pavement, properties with corresponding variation and variation practice controlling scheme of asphalt mixture, and evaluating and effective control of the uniformity of asphalt pavement.
